A night of fun and fine art at the Art & Framing Industry Awards

Not so long ago we shared on the blog the fabulous news that we’d made the finals of the Art & Framing Industry Awards 2015, which took place last weekend.
We were nominated within the Website of the Year category in recognition of the hard work our team has put into making Parrotprint.com an easy-to-use site for all kinds of customers.
To find out the outcome of our category and the many other awards celebrating the efforts of those working within the UK art and framing industry, we headed up to Harrogate dressed in our finest apparel.
The awards took place in the Swan Hotel Harrogate and alongside the ceremony there was the opportunity to meet others members of the Fine Art Trade Guild, so a special hello must be said to anyone we met over the course of the weekend.
Unfortunately we didn’t win the gong on the night but we were very honoured to make the finals and impressed by the overall standard of all of the finalists. The winners on the evening were as follows:

- Guild Challenge Award: Andrea Cooke

- Art Retailer of the Year: The Frame
- Best in Show: Guild Artists Exhibition
- Framing Awards Exhibition: Steve Robertson GCF, Frames and Boxes
